For Whetu challenge, we made a newspaper Tower. I worked with Azahliah, Stella & Miller. It was 2.53 cm. This time it went better.     

 I worked with Noah & this is what we did.

 

 For play make create we will listen to Theodore the unsure. I work with Noah George and Reagan. I would change the eyes.  The lion worked well.

On Friday it was Kite day. I made a kite beside Noah, Chris, Pippa, Bella, Olivia,  Abby, and Azahliah. I made it out of rubbish bags and bamboo. I would change the rubbish bag to a Chiefs flag.

 The book is called I'm seeking with you. I made a hut with Christian and sol. We made it out of sports equipment. The challenging part was tying the Tarpoland land to the wood. I would change the colour. 

Me Noah and Darius created a treehouse. The housework well but not the tree. We were so close to finishing I would change the trunk to Brow 

  During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on the steel level of NumBots.   I enjoy NumBots because it's fun and I like to get up to different levels. I find copper challenging. This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables.

Today the book was called Up The Creek.   I work with Noah and we made a boat with wheels with a fan on it. I had fun building a boat with Noah. We used cardboard, toothpicks, and beads.  I think we did a good job.

  Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block. My favourite part of the Amazing Race was running around the town and finding the Easter egg codes. The rotation I enjoyed the most was the Picasso Bunnies because I like to colouring in with pastel. During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick in a big tree

  Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I swim 3 different strokes. I can 3rd in all of my races except for my two left Briftstrok. We had two art sessions this week and I got up to glowing the Triangle's on the paper.   In reading this week we have been reeding geronimo stilton books. Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am good. 

The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is grafs because it is fun to see what the common sport in peak peak. We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Miss Mac.  Our art is going to be paper mache.   We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look awesome, I did it with my mum Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling a little bit nervous and excited

  Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is My friends and teachers. The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time is rotations because every week it is a new challenge.  The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunch time this year is playing on the black boyes One word that describes learning in Whetu is sometimes is fun and hard  Something I am looking forward to is ttRockstar
