This year for athletics I came 7th in the 60m, I came 3rd in the 100m, I came 2nd in the 200m and I came 2nd in 800m. I liked the long jump the most for the field events. I found shot put the hardest and running the easiest. I tried really hard and did my best.
This week I joined the cooking group. On the first day, we did what we can't have in the kitchen. On the second day, we cut up the vegetables. I cut it up a onions On the third day, we ate the food The part that I liked the most was when we gotta eat it
Whetū Workshops Reflection During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops. The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been science with chemicals The new learning that I have learnt is vinegar and baking soda react more zen lemon and baking soda. What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are we get to choose what we won't. I am interested in learning more about more chemicals that react with baking soda
For Fabulous Finish, I made a pillow with Dribble the Turtle on it. The first thing I did was draw Dribble the Turtle on a piece of paper then I cut the drawing out. I pined the drawing on different materials that I chose to make Dribble the Turtle. Then I took the paper of the material that I pined then I went to the sowing machine a stitched the pieces on a big piece of material that I chose. Then I stitched the big material on to another big material, then I put the stuffing in the pillow.
